
TAO OF MUSIC
Jimmy is a piano, vocal, and theory teacher serving Aurora, Ontario and surrounding areas. He has been teaching piano for 21 years and has numerous awards. Jimmy studied music at York University back in 2000 and has extensive experience as a music director in the community theater world.

Along with being a piano teacher, Jimmy has competed in numerous music festivals such as: The Newmarket Lions Festival, Markham Music Festival and The Kiwanis Music Festival. His specialty is sight reading at the highest level any competition offers from Grade 10-ARCT. He has never place less than 1st place nor received an award less than gold. With a wall of awards attained, Jimmy now focuses on preparing his students to have their own success at the same festivals and beyond.

Vocal Lessons can be taught to students from age 5 and up. Jimmy is heavily involved in the musical theater world and routinely prepares actors of all levels for the stage. Although students can choose to sing whatever song they want, they should will get the most out of any musical theater request. Jimmy often serves as a piano accompanist for vocalists at festivals, exams, auditions and recitals.
As a music director and conductor, Jimmy insists on accompanying his casts with live piano instead of pre-recorded tracks. Actors and students are able to work on tricky music over and over without delay. He brings energy and enthusiasm not only to the music but to the delivery of the music.
